The Finished Survey Project
One week, one answer. I am allowed to elaborate as so much as I wish, but no more than that. I will conform to the preset rules. I will update and change the set of questions after each one is finished.
Survey #1 was stolen from here. It was this particular post.
01. Can you cook? Surprising as it is, I can cook and relatively well, as three people can attest to. Wilderness Orientation as taught me how to cook for myself for all three meals of the day and eat comfortably if the proportions are large enough. ~Answered on Sept. 23, 2008
02. What was your dream growing up? My mom told me that when I was about five years of age, our house was being painted. And we were watching them paint from across the street. I turned to my mom and I said, “I want to be a painter”. She asked me why. “Because I want to paint peoples’ houses.” I like to think I wanted to do that to make the owners and myself happy. Them by getting their houses painted. Me by doing what I loved doing. ~Answered on Oct. 1, 2008
03. What talent do you wish you had? Oh geez, I wish I had the talent of being good at everything I endeavor to do. Because I don’t seem to be able to do anything right. I’m not very musical, not athletic, not artistic. I can’t sing. Or dance. Or scrapbook. I’m not very talented. So to make up for that, I would like to be great at everything. (Am I serious? Or is it sarcasm? You can never tell. And will never know.) ~Answered on Oct. 7, 2008
04. If I bought you a drink what would it be? I wouldn’t know. You’re buying me the drink remember? If I’ve been drinking with you, then probably a shot or mixed drink. If not… apparently I have red wine on the mind… ~Answered on Oct 15, 2008
05. Favorite vegetable? Potatoes. Definitely. Because I have yet to see somebody mess up potatoes in any form. (potato chips, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, tater tots, the list goes on). ~Answered on Oct 25, 2008
06. What was the last book you read? The last book I read all the way through was Never let Me Go by Kazuo Ichiguro. The last book I read for pleasure was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. And that, my friends, was a full year and a half ago. ~Answered on Nov. 1, 2008
08. Any tattoos and/or piercings? None, though I haven’t dismissed the idea completely. ~Answered on Nov. 11, 2008
09. Worst habit?Procrastinating, definitely. Laziness. Self-destruction. I wouldn’t know. You’d have to tell me. Assuming you knew me well enough to tell me. ~Answered on Nov. 17, 2008
10. If you saw me walking down the street would you offer me a ride? I probably would, granted that I have given you a ride before. ~Answered on Dec. 25, 2008
11. What is your favorite sport? I have a couple which are, predictably, Track and Field and Soccer. If you didn’t know that, then you don’t know me. But I’m really up for anything, just as long as I suck on an equal level as others playing it. ~Answered on Dec. 25, 2008
12. Negative or optimistic attitude? I assume you means pessimistic. And a majority of the time, I am a pessimist. ~Answered on Dec. 25, 2008
13. What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me? I don’t know what I would do. It’s one of those things that you won’t know until it happens, you know? But if I had to guess, I’d either freak out and try to take control of the uncontrollable situation or just start bouncing up and down to get the car moving. Either, or. ~Answered on Dec. 25, 2008
14. Worst thing to ever happen to you? I dunno. My life seems to be a whole chain of “worst thing to ever happen to me”. Note the answer above. But that’s not to say my life isn’t worth living. Basically, It’s a shit sea with small sand bars of happiness every so often. ~Answered on Dec. 25 2008
15. Tell me one weird fact about you. Well what constitutes as weird anyway? Well, I guess that when I sleep in the car, I am told I adapt some very unusual sleeping positions. ~Answered on Jan. 4 2009
16. Do you have any pets? None. ~Answered on Jan. 4 2009
17. What if I showed up at your house unexpectedly? Well, let’s see… probably depends on who you are, how long I’ve known you, what I was just doing, and if I was wearing pants. But more often than not, I’ll probably let you in. Especially if my parents home and you brought beer. ~Answered on June 13 2009
18. What was your first impression of me? Who are you? ~Answered on June 13 2009
19. Do you think clowns are cute or scary? Clowns are very terrifying people. Who else but a psychopath would put on make up and deliberately tattered clothing with hilariously oversized shoes and make balloon animals? Seriously, though I don’t care much for clowns, mainly because they’re NOT FUNNY. ~Answered June 13 2009
20. If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be? Right now, it would have to be my face. I’ve never really liked how my face looks. And it’s even worse now, because since coming back from college, my face has become “fuller”. Almost all the weight I gained from eating dining hall food has accumulated on my face. Seriously. ~Answered June 13 2009
21. Would you be my crime partner or my conscience? I would be neither. I’d be the party pooper saying, “Naw man, that’s not legit. We shouldn’t be doing this, man”. That guy. ~Answered June 13 2009
22. What color eyes do you have? Brown. Like Jackie Chan says, my “eyes are full of shit!” ~Answered June 13 2009
23. Ever been arrested? Never. Never been written up, either. I’m smart about it. ~Answered June 13 2009
24. Bottle or draft? Though I’ve never had it, draft. It’s much smoother. ~Answered June 13 2009
25. If you won $10,000 today, what would you do with it? Depends on how much I needed to bribe my math professor. Then, I would spend it on a long mental list of things that I would like to have. ~Answered June 13 2009
26. Would you date me? For how long? ~Answered June 13 2009
27. Where’s your favorite place to hang out? Anywhere where there’s good people around. Place is secondary always to people. ~Answered June 13 2009
28. Do you believe in ghosts? I think I’ve seen a ghost before, though I’m not sure if I actually saw it, was half awake, or if it was because I just made sick all over the side of the cabin I was sleeping in at the time. ~Answered June 13 2009
29. Favorite thing to do in your spare time? Diligent workers don’t have spare time. I spend it doing nothing. ~Answered June 13 2009
